Orthokeratology. Ortho-k or Custom designed Corneal Molds are used to eliminate the use of day time glasses and contacts without surgery. These rigid lenses gently reshape the front surface of the eye when worn overnight on a daily basis. The outcome is clear vision throughout the day without the use of glasses or contact lenses. This is a great option for kids (myopia management) and adults. Some of the Orthok designs we fit are:

Rigid Lenses. The Rigid contact lens is the first contact lens modality to ever be used. The rigid surface allows for very clear vision, especially for patients with very high prescriptions and/or corneal irregularities.
Hybrid Lenses. For those patients that prefer the vision rigid lenses offer, but find them uncomfortable, hybrid lenses are the option of choice. These lenses have a rigid center for superior optics, and are surrounded by a soft skirt which provides comfort throughout the day. This is a great option for patients with high prescriptions and astigmatism, or for the patients who simply cannot achieve stable, crisp vision with their soft contact lenses.
Soft Contact Lenses. This option is the most common type of corrective lens available. Our doctors will fit you with all types including:
- Toric Soft Contact Lenses: lenses that correct for astigmatism.
- Multi-focal Soft Contact Lenses: lenses that correct for presbyopia (difficulty focusing at near).
- Multi-focal Toric Soft Contact Lenses: lenses that correct for astigmatism and presbyopia.
